Psittacus Psittacine Crop Milk Hand Feeding Formula 500 g

Psittacus Psittacine Crop Milk is a complete daily hand-rearing formula designed for seed-eating baby parrots during the earliest stage of life, from hatching until approximately 7–8 days of age. The formula is designed for maximum digestibility while providing concentrated energy and nutrients required by young chicks. Its composition includes soybean protein concentrate, soybean protein isolate, inulin, sunflower oil, palm oil, coconut oil, linseed oil, dried whole egg, dicalcium phosphate and calcium carbonate, together with nutritional additives including vitamins A, D3, E, K3, B1, B2, B6, B12 and C, niacin, folic acid, biotin, choline and beta-carotene. The analytical constituents shown on the package are 4,920 kcal/kg energy, 6.0% moisture, 44.0% crude protein, 40.0% crude fat, 2.4% crude fibre and 6.7% crude ash. Feeding recommendations indicate use from hatching until day 7–8 of life, gradually increasing the concentration during the first day from approximately 1% in the first feeding to 20% in the final feeding. From day 3, prepare with warm water at a concentration of 25% and divide the chick’s required daily amount into 8 feeding bouts per day. The formula should then be progressively switched to Psittacus Neonatal or Mini Hand Feeding Formula over two days. Any leftover prepared formula should be discarded after each feeding.
